World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5. This day is celebrated to make us realize that how the best in life are free: trees they give us shade and oxygen, flowers and butterflies that give beauty to life and perform the important function of re-pollination and a new plant life.

Mother Nature is truly the most bountiful Mother inexhaustible Mother on this Earth’ are we taking caring of this Earth or not? Here the main question rises!

This particular day is celebrated to raise awareness about the importance of Healthy Environment and how to cope up with several environmental issues. This can be done by doing various actions to protect nature and the Earth that leads to a positive and healthy environment for all. WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY, celebrated by UNITED NATIONS ENVIRONMENT PROGRAMME is a day to think about how we are an important part of nature and how we depend on it for survival.

Start from your home, start a garden, grow a flower in a flowerpot or plant and care for a seedling. Protect and help to fertilize public trees and gardens. Keep your home, roads and surrounding clean. Try to use public transport rather personal transport. Don’t use plastic. Use recycled products. Try to keep your dry and wet waste separate. Give papers, cardboards, tins and plastic to sweepers. Try using solar power projects or garbage composting. Use ‘Garbage as a source of energy ’.

Other than promoting bio-fuels, hydro power and solar water heaters; developing new drainage systems, protecting and promoting coral roofs, preventing deforestation. World Environment Day wants to make the common public aware that everyone is responsible for saving this environment. In this context, eco-friendly pest control solutions, using no toxic pest control and environmentally friendly pesticides that do not harm humans and mammals, but destroy mosquitoes, house bugs, bedbugs, ants, cockroaches and other pest are essential.

The foods we eat, the air breathe the water we drink and the climate that makes our planet habitable, they all come from nature.

To this year WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY, our motto should be

To care for ourselves we must care for nature.
