Happy 73rd Independence Day of Pakistan

Independence Day is celebrated annually on 14th of august every year. It is the day when Pakistan got freedom as a sovereign independent Muslim state where all the religions could be practiced according to the Islamic principles. The two-nation theory initiated in the British run government led to the formation of “All India Muslim league”. All the Muslims of the sub-continent united under the flag of Muslim league aimed for an independent state in the north-western region in the south of Asia. Muslims under the dynamic leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah fought day and night for their just rights. The struggle bore fruit in the shape of Indian independence act 1947. The Pakistan movement resulted in the creation of PAKISTAN.

73rd Independence Day of Pakistan is to be celebrated on jummah-tul-mubarak with all the patriotism, zeal and zest. Parades and ceremonies will be held in all smaller and bigger cities. This may not be like the celebrations of previous years but the passion is still matchless. Guns salute will be presented in Islamabad and in all the provincial capitals.

The streets and markets will be decorated with flags and fairy lights. Participants of the Independence Day parade dress up in the color of national flag. Celebrations are held in monuments and places of great significance to celebrate the day. The main buildings. Buildings of all the government and private offices are decorated and raise the national flag. The prime minster and president address the nation and talk about the importance this date has to us. This day also pays tribute to people who devoted their lives for independence.

Now it is our duty to play a real constructive role and be responsible citizen of the nation.
